Journey to Tomorrow

On Monday, April 12, 2010, the members of Christ Presbyterian Church culminated the pledge portion of a building campaign that will add a considerable amount of ministry building space to present campus offerings. The following is a summary of campus enhancements with an estimated ground-breaking of fall 2010.

An Atrium-Style Fellowship Building:

• 5130 square feet
• Seating for 350 persons at round tables
• Coffee bar
• Elevated stage with backstage area
• Breezeway and covered entry

Two-Story Education Building:

• 11,200 square feet (total)
• 18 spacious classrooms for children, youth and adults
• Library/bookstore
• 4 general restrooms
• 4 in-class restrooms for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Children and Youth recreation and activity center with showers in adjoining restrooms
• 3 offices, a workroom and a reception area for children's ministries
• 2 stairwells and an elevator

Modifications to Existing Campus:

• Expanded kitchen and table/chair storage space
• Enlarged space for choir and music ministries
• 3 additional offices
• Nursery area adjacent to existing cryroom and sanctuary
• Sanctuary overflow area
