World Vision has been in Haiti for 31 years and currently runs 20 long-term development programs across five regions, with almost 400 staff members helping more than 300,000 people. World Vision is already on the ground and mobilized to respond to immediate needs. You can donate online through the World Vision Website.

The Salvation Army has been established "on the ground" in Haiti since 1950 and currently operates clinics, a hospital, feeding programs, children's homes, a school and other church-related activities spread across their two major facilities in Port au Prince.

The organization is preparing to send more than 44,000 pounds of pre-packaged emergency rations to the country, along with disaster teams.

You can make a monetary donation to The Salvation Army online or by calling 1-800-SAL-ARMY (1-800-725-2769).

To help, people can make an unrestricted donation to the International Response Fund online or by calling 1-800-REDCROSS (1-800-733-2767). Online donations should be earmarked as “Haiti Earthquake Relief.”

The Red Cross is also receiving money though a third party mobile fundraising effort sponsored by Mobile Accord. Mobile donors can text “Haiti” to 90999 to send a ten dollar donation to the Red Cross. The funds will go to support the Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.

If you prefer to give through our own denomination's (PCUSA) efforts to assist Haitian earthquake victims, you may do so by contacting Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA). Monetary gifts are being received online. You may also donate:
