YOUTH MINISTRY

OUR DRIVING PASSION

Romans 12:2 "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will." 

Our Junior High and High School student ministries challenge students in their walk with Christ, their relationships at home, at school and with themselves. This class draws its inspiration from Romans 12:2.

OUR GOAL

We aim to build open and lasting relationships with junior high and high school students as the leaders disciple them to become devoted followers of Christ and to be true to our vision as Christ has set forth for our youth ministry.

OUR YOUTH MINISTRY OFFERINGS

Confirmation: Students in 7th and 8th grade (or older) are invited annually to participate in a 60 week confirmation class.

Youth Bible Study: A teen group meets from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. This group focuses on applying God's Word to everyday life through serious and intentional Bible study.  

Youth Group: Our midweek youth group ministry meets at the church on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm. The group focuses on fellowship and on subjects to help students deal with contemporary teen issues.  

OPPORTUNITIES TO BE A PART OF THE YOUTH MINISTRY

What greater opportunity is there than to be a part of a student "getting it" in their relationship with Christ? Discipleship involves adult volunteers helping students become fully devoted followers of Christ and requires an investment of time, energy, and a willingness to learn and grow.
