Who is Christ presbyterian Church?

CPC is a diverse collection of disciples of Jesus whom God has brought together to fulfill our purpose in life and God’s mission for the church. Our Mission is:

“Loving God, Serving His World, Changing Lives”

Loving God is the greatest commandment and is the foundation of everything else truly good in life. We love God in response to his incredible love for us shown in our creation, our salvation through Jesus Christ and God’s ongoing work of healing and blessing through the Holy Spirit.

Just as God blesses and serves us in our need, out of love for him we serve the world he loves. Jesus came to give his life away for us, so we are called to give our lives away for others so that they might experience the grace and blessing of the God who created them in love and desires to give them a live of joy and peace and fulfillment. Since God created us whole people, we are called to help meet all human needs, including physical, emotional, economic, relational and spiritual.

There are plenty of helpful activities, but the aim of all our efforts is not just to do good or stay busy, it is to see lives changed. That is God’s desire for each of us. He loves us where we are, and also loves us enough to keep us from getting stuck. God has a purpose for us that includes healing and wholeness, forgiveness, freedom and new life. As Jesus changes our lives one by one, he also changes families, communities, nations and the world. He is the only true hope for each of us, and for all of humanity.

Come join us as we fulfill the purpose we were created for … together.
